Thank you so much for visiting our website. I feel very blessed to serve as pastor here at Fredonia Baptist Church. Here’s a little about me- I was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. I became a Christian at First Baptist Church Concord in 1985 at a revival led by the evangelist David Ring. I graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. After spending twenty years in youth ministry in Texas and in Tennessee, God called me into pastoral ministry. I have been married since 2005 to the love of my life, Emily. Our oldest son, Luke, was born in 2009. In 2014, the Lord allowed us to fulfill our dream of adopting children when we adopted our two sons Caleb and Joshua. In my free time I love spending time with Emily & my sons, jogging/walking, reading, and watching sports (Go Vols and go Braves!). Emily & I love living in this beautiful area of Mississippi and serving the Lord at Fredonia.
Bro. Jeremy Vaughan
Associate Pastor of Youth / Children’s Ministry Coordinator
I am originally from Starkville, MS (go bulldogs!) but have lived in Nashville, TN and Fort Worth, TX before coming on staff at Fredonia Baptist Church in January of 2017. I was saved when I was 12, but struggled with my walk with the Lord in high school and my first year of college. It was a road of heartache that only led to me becoming depressed and only wanting to live for myself. It wasn’t until I got down on my knees one night and prayed that God would forgive me of my sins and self-absorbed lifestyle that I truly started to see a change in my walk with the Lord. Soon after, I felt that God was calling me to full-time ministry but I ran from that calling because I didn’t think God could use me because of my past. As stubborn as I was, God never once stopped putting that calling on my heart, and in 2014 I finally surrendered to the Lord and dedicated my life to full-time ministry. In 2015 I moved from Nashville to Fort Worth, TX to begin my seminary degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Once there, I began pursuing my Masters of Christian Education with the intent to minister to the next generation. During my time there I also became the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church in Kennedale, TX and worked there until God called me to Fredonia Baptist Church! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Victoria, and our 2 pets. I also love spending time in the outdoors and enjoy hunting, fishing, and playing any kind of sport.
Ingomar has been my home for the past 27 years. I became a Christian in 1989 following an evening service led by Bro. Gregg Thomas, here at Fredonia Baptist Church. I attended NEMCC, where I was active in BSU, a Missions Board leader, and a member of the Christian singing group, Sounds of Joy. The summer of 2000, I worked as a counselor and music teacher at Camp Garaywa in Clinton, MS. I graduated in May of 2002 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education at the University of Mississippi. I am currently an elementary music teacher and High School Chorus director at Ingomar Attendance Center, where I have worked the past 12 years. I have been blessed to lead the Children’s Choir for 10 years here at Fredonia, and led adult choir and music ministry from 2002-2004 and from January 2012-present. Clint, Polly Beth, Jon-David and I are so honored and blessed to call Fredonia home. I am eager to help bring a heart of worship to Fredonia, and more than anything else, I am dedicated to seek God’s direction and guidance to help build His kingdom.
