Bro. Hunter LittleAssociate Pastor of Youth/Children's Ministry Coordinator (Pastor)
I grew up in a small town called Union, MS. I surrender my life to Jesus was I was 9 years old, right in the midst of my parents splitting up. Jesus came to me in a time of need and he comforted me. After my parents divorced, my mom, younger brother, and I moved away, and we struggled finding a home church for a few years. It was at until I was 13 that one of my baseball teammates invited me to his church. There at First Baptist Church Union, the youth pastor sought me out and loved me. He poured into me and showed me that I mattered. I was blessed to play sports in high school and be successful enough to play football in college. Football became my identity in high school. I was involved in my church’s youth ministry and was even considered a leader, but I was following Jesus as an afterthought as best. It wasn’t until after my first season of college football that God showed me what I was supposed to do with my life. God showed me that my identity was not in football. My identity is in Christ. During Christmas of 2017, God called me to ministry. He reminded me of my past and how my youth pastor helped change my life, and my past had equipped me to minister to the next generation. Not long after I surrendered to ministry, the Lord introduced me to my beautiful wife at a youth camp. I hung up the cleats a few months later and transferred to Blue Mountain College where I earned my degree in Christian Ministry in December of 2020. The week after graduation, the Lord brought me to Fredonia to minister to the next generation. In April of 2021, I got to marry the love of my life, and now we both get to pour into our students here at Fredonia. I enjoy working out, spending time with my wife and our dog, and playing any type of sport. We love our church, and we love our church family.
