My name is Scotlyn Smith and I’m 10 years old.  Today I’m getting baptized because I love Jesus and I want to follow Him.

I enjoy coming to church and during VBS I started to understand more about God and the love He has for me even though I have sinned.

I talked to my mom and dad so I could tell them that I wanted Jesus in my life.

Being baptized today means that I’m telling everyone that I believe in Jesus and believe He died for my sins.  I’m excited to be baptized today to wash away my sins.
