I have grown up in church and always had a supportive family and church family. I love all of the fun activities we do at church to teach me more about God.
I have understood what sin was and what being saved was for a while. But this year at VBS I felt like God was telling me it was time for me to be saved. So I knew what I needed to do. On Thursday, June 6th, Mr. Drew Richey talked to me about what it meant to be a Christian. I knew I had made the right decision of asking Jesus to come into my heart because I felt an instant relief and wasn’t nervous anymore and was very happy.
Before I got saved, I didn’t really feel bad when I was being mean. But now that I am a Christian, I do feel bad and want to ask God for forgiveness. I hope to learn even more about God and grow closer to Him.
